How long is too long?

21 Hours is too long, in case you were wondering. Dawn was not even in labor with Emily for that long!

I am referring to how long it took us to get to RI from our home in KY. There was a long series of events that prolonged our journey, but none impacted it more than a two hour delay because they closed the highway down to remove an accident. We were blessed to have a portable DVD player with us (thank you Kip and Kerri). We watched an entire movie and started on a second. Needless to say, we were a little frustrated and were glad to finally arrive at 2:30 in the morning.

Thanks for all your prayers because although we were greatly delayed, we made it here safely.

Stay tuned for all the latest happenings in the life of Emily and her parents...

Oh, my word! I agree that 21 hours is way to long to be in a car!

Yikes! How fun to know that you are in the same state. = ) How's the weather for you? Cold enough? Amazingly enough Joel hasn't broken out the winter coat yet. = )

BTW, our furnace went out sometime Monday night. It should be repaired tomorrow (Thursday). They had to order a part. If we have to move the party to Providence we'll give you a call. Mike's cell?
